Basically, during the intermission I studied, worked, and threatened my sanity. After three quarters I will final resume my work, soon.
Last month I ordered a new hard drive for my old laptop, also a fob watch and a book. When I went to replace the hard drive, finally looking at the original hard drive for the first time, sad news was brought to me, I burnt it. Every file I had on it is lost, on a hard drive even the NSA can't break into. But of course nothing was going to stop me from returning. I gave my word for a Q3 return date and I will return before the end of Q3. As a matter of fact, December, a trip to the neighbors up north, and the capital (and historic war city), brought positive outcomes to me. Back in December I created a Twitch account, opening a door to a new room. Sadly I won't enter that room for a while (anyone who read my tweets during E3). Meanwhile I did some traveling, after months I've finally gotten my travels off my iPod, and that opened an even cooler room.
Oh yeah, about that studying. I've spent a while looking into building my own computer, yes there is some peer-pressure. My mother and some of her friends in England built they're own computers, my friends talk about builds, so naturally it is something every PC gamer must do in their lives. PCs aside I also did console research. Yes, yes, a mister PC master race looking at consoles. I have an excuse, this year has brought promise to me. Currently there are games that will be released that I really want to get: Sword Art Online: Lost Song, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Fallout 4, and others. Also a few games that I've been wanting to get.
Speaking of games, Steam's summer sale was going on back when I order my laptop hard drive. In that sale I really advanced my self, I bought about 9 games, including Assassin's Creed 1-3 (as well as Brotherhood and Revelations). Then there was a Humble Bundle sale where I bought a bunch of Paradox Interactive games, such as Crusader Kings II, Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron III, and Magicka. Yes it also had (Vanilla) Victoria II, but I already had it including most of the DLCs. Meanwhile during the Steam sale I got EU4 DLC. Anyone looking forward to a Grand Campaign.
So now we hit the point of my return, I've spent the last few weeks setting up a new laptop. I still have my old one, which I have begun calling my old girl (I'm lonely, all those sports guy get the girls while nerds like me wind up alone reading reader inserts on the internet), she's a memory of where I started. Now here's where I return, 80% of my Steam library has been download onto my new setup, I downloaded OBS creating the streaming availability, but I've wound up with an issue with the new computer's editing software. Also I have a few little secrets that are waiting to be revealed.
By the way, I might try to make an original series, unlikely to be adapted for my return. Basically I've found a partner and we've been planning work on a story, issue being we want something that actually works and doesn't feel like something someone else made. Add to that due to Sword
Art Online: Lost Song getting a physical release here in Region 1, I'm sort of playing with spending and saving. Luckily, since its release back in October, the PlayStation (Vita) TV has dropped nearly $75 on Amazon, with some spare money I think I might be able to get one, and a necessary Blu-Ray drive. Due to how much I use my PCs and some of the travel I've done, plus the price of an actual Blu-Ray player, I've decided on getting an external Blu-Ray player for my laptop and future PCs. Sadly I spent $50 on a laptop hard drive on a laptop that I killed, oops left that part out, also heck no am I getting a refund, never get a refund on something that will come in handy in the future.
If you're still with me at this point congratulations, this is the end,
sincerly,
